Boating Safety Classes

Acworth Parks and Recreation Department will partner with U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 22 to offer a boating safety class. The one-day NASBLA certified class will be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at Roberts School Community Center, 4681 School St., Acworth. This is an entry-level class aimed at the inland boater. Old salts will benefit as well, since the latest information on Georgia law and Coast Guard policy will be covered. This is a classroom-only course. The fee is $20.
