The Acworth Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department will host the annual Mother Son Camp Out at Proctor Landing Park
(5260 Proctor Landing Road), beginning at 1 p.m. The event is open to mothers and their sons, ages 13 and younger. Participants will camp on Lake Allatoona while learning about nature and participating in a variety of outdoor activities. To register, visit www.acworthparksandrecreation.org.
