Save Acworth History Foundation Speakers Series

Joe Bozeman will discuss “Prisons of the Civil War.” 7 p.m., Roberts School Community and Education Center, 4681 School St., Acworth. Bozeman will provide information about the prison system during the Civil War, and about treatment prisoners received. He is co-author of the book “Images of America: Kennesaw,” and is the grandson of a conductor with the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway. Bozeman is a member of the Kennesaw Preservation Commission.
