Joe Bozeman presents “The Railroads Around Acworth and Beyond.” 7 p.m., Robert’s Community and Education Center, 4681 School St., Acworth. Bozeman will speak on the history of the Nashville, Chattanooga and St. Louis Railway. The railway operated on the Western and Atlantic Railroad from 1890 until 1957, serving Acworth and Kennesaw. The NC&StL built the old Acworth Depot, so that will be discussed. Bozeman is the grandson of a NC&StL Railway conductor, and co-author of the book “Images of America: Kennesaw.” He serves as a member of the Kennesaw Preservation Commission. Open to the public. Free.
